A Letter to Families
When I was in high school, I discovered something that has never left me.
I loved helping children learn.
That passion led me to become a special education teacher, an early interventionist, a supervisor, a trainer, and eventually earn my doctorate in early childhood education.
Along the way, I noticed something.
Families weren’t looking for someone to simply complete paperwork or meet during scheduled visits.
They wanted someone who would truly see and hear them.
Because behind every referral is a family learning to navigate a season they may have never expected. Every caregiver brings hopes, questions, routines, victories, and challenges that deserve to be understood with compassion and respect.
Someone who would celebrate the first word, the first step, or the first time a child cleaned up because a favorite Bluey character made it fun.
That’s why I started Student Solutions.
Today, our team still believes every child deserves individualized support built around who they are—not around a checklist.
