Early intervention is a system of services and support designed to help children with developmental delays or disabilities reach their full potential. These services are typically provided to children from birth to age six.

Services are typically delivered in natural settings, such as the child’s home, daycare, or community. Trained professionals work directly with the child and provide guidance to families.
Early intervention services are provided at no cost to families.
